NRAA participates in Al Qurain festival in Kuwait

KUWAIT: The National Records and Archives Authority (NRAA) is taking part in the 24th Al Qurain Cultural Festival, themed ‘The Economics of Arab Culture, Kuwait’s Cultural Role in the Development of Knowledge,’ which started yesterday in Kuwait. The festival highlights Kuwait’s cultural role in the Arab cultural development both in the production and export of culture or the organisation of festivals and various activities. Al Qurain festival represents a long and unique feature of this role. It presents a unique blend of artistic and cultural activities, such as seminars, workshops and movies. The NRAA participation comes as per an invitation of the National Council for Culture, Arts and Literature in the State of Kuwait to take part in the festival. Dr Hamad bin Mohammed al Dhoyani, NRAA Chairman, chaired the first session entitled ‘Culture and Economy in the Arab Countries between the Public and Private Sectors.’ — ONA
