Lobster Ravioli, Roasted Halibut with Olive Crust, Black Squid Ink Risotto, Tuna Tartare — all prepared with the morning’s catch and a Lobster Bisque Soup infused with garden-fresh strawberries. If you are not drooling right now, then perhaps smelling them would do the trick. These delectable dishes are just some of the Mediterranean menus you can expect in Muscat soon as recently appointed Cluster Executive Chef for Grand Millennium Muscat, Chef Vito Fornelli, who has developed a culinary celebration of the Mediterranean drew influence from both sea and kitchen and presents this masterpieces in Bahriyat.

Bahriyat, Muscat’s home-grown seafood restaurant with a modern twist, promises an inviting dining experience for the whole family, with a variety of homemade ocean-inspired dishes, all cooked with locally-sourced seafood trawled from the coast of Oman and crafted by true arbiters of good taste.

“I believe in the quality of simple, fresh ingredients. Good, raw produce determines the finished product and we are very excited to present the new offering of Bahriyat to our guests,” Chef Fornelli said.

“Bahriyat is a place where Mediterranean cuisine meets a sense of home. Food holds great emotion and we want our guests to experience not only great cuisine, but to feel good when they dine with us. Through a relaxed service style, the freshest flavours and a modest price point, we look to bring new dining experiences to our hotel,” Luca Medda, Cluster General Manager, Grand Millennium Muscat, said.
