Sandro Mazza has been promoted to General Manager of Shangri-La Al Husn Resort & Spa.
In his new role, he will now be responsible for directing and evaluating the day-to-day activities of Shangri-La Al Husn Resort & Spa’s 180 guest rooms, four dining outlets, state-of-the-art wellness facilities including Hareer Spa By L’Occitane and a purpose built fitness centre.
Mazza’s appointment follows his role as Resident Manager of adjacent sister property Shangri-La Barr Al Jissah Resort & Spa, where he was in place for 18 months following a stint at Shangri-La’s Villingili Resort & Spa, Maldives as Resident Manager. Mazza has risen through the ranks of Shangri-La Group since joining the company in 2006 as Assistant Front Office Manager, where he progressed to Valley Wing Manager at Shangri-La Hotel, Singapore in 2009.
Speaking of his appointment, Mazza said: “I am delighted to join the team at Shangri-La Al Husn Resort & Spa. I look forward to working with the team to continue to drive Shangri-La Al Husn Resort & Spa to the next levels of luxury as General Manager.
