MUSCAT: At the event organised recently by the Dubai-based Transform, the National Centre for Statistics and Information captured two elite awards. The visual identity project and the corporate brand that was designed and implemented by Zeinah Group in Muscat captured the gold award for the best visual identity under the public services category. It also captured the bronze award for the best brand identity development project that reflects a change in mission, values and location.

The awards come in recognition of the success of NCSI and its big role in marketing the statistical knowledge inside and outside the Sultanate. The awards also reflect the Centre’s professional outputs and products which translate its five values namely partnership, transparency, access, integrity and knowledge management.

Dr Khalifa bin Abdullah al Barwani, CEO of the NCSI said, “Since its inception, NCSI has been keen on having an identity that translates its work and that this identity has been an integral part in the success of the Centre to carry out its strategic mission.” It should be noted that Transform awards started 8 years ago in Europe and was later expanded in 2015 to include MENA, Asia and Pacific.

The MENA Transform Awards is the only award programme that celebrates achievements in developing commercial brands, managing good well and changing brand identity in MENA region. — ONA
