National Museum, Zeenah win design awards

The National Museum — Sultanate of Oman has won two design awards for its distinctive brand image at the recent Transform Awards MENA held in Dubai. The visual identity project, which was designed and implemented by Muscat-based Zeenah Group won a Silver Award for the best use of typography and a Bronze Award for the best visual identity deployed in the public sector.


Mohammad al Farei, Managing Director of Zeenah Group recently presented the award trophies to Jamal al Moosawi, Director — General of The National Museum and his team.


Commenting on the awards, Jamal al Moosawi noted, “This is truly an impressive achievement and great recognition for the National Museum brand. We pride ourselves on working with local firms who understand the heritage and culture of Oman and our partnership with Zeenah underlines this commitment. These awards highlight the creativity and professionalism of the design team at Zeenah and I extend our congratulations to them.”


Highlighting the growing regional and international recognition achieved by local design firms, Zeenah Group scooped an unprecedented six design awards.


Commenting on the award wins, Mohammed al Farei, Managing Director of Zeenah Group noted, “We’re committed to growing the abilities of talented local designers and communications specialists, so this recognition once again demonstrates that agencies in Oman compete head to head with design firms based outside the Sultanate.”
