MUSCAT: Al Namaa Poultry Company signed a contract on Wednesday with the Dutch Meyn Company for the construction of the slaughterhouse of al Namaa Poultry Company. The contract was signed by Saleh bin Mohammed al Shanfari, Chairman of the Board of Directors, on behalf of al Namaa Poultry Company and by the authorised delegate of the Dutch company.

The slaughterhouse will have a production capacity of 200,000 birds per day, which will include two production lines with a production capacity of 10,000 birds per hour with the use of the latest technologies, machinery and equipment, from the reception of live birds to the final product and the use of air cooling technology, allowing a higher quality product with longer validity.
