Nama Group organised a special exhibition at Muscat Grand Mall (MGM) yesterday, as part of the conclusion of its ‘Nama Ambassadors Programme 2017’. The two-day exhibition allows the participating teams to showcase their projects and their capabilities in managing and implementing all kinds of projects and initiatives. The goal is to strengthen the skills of the participating students as they prepare to enter the labour market and contribute to the economic development of the Sultanate.

Of the 60 entries received at the start of the programme, 20 are being showcased as part of the finale. The 20 projects have been selected on the basis of their sustainability and project management merits.

The projects were evaluated by a committee of experts specialising in sustainability and project management and implementation. The best three projects from the School category, as well as the best three projects from colleges, universities and vocational training centres, will be declared winners at the close of the programme, slated for Thursday, December 14, at the Ministry of Education Amphitheatre in Al Wattayah

The closing will be held under the patronage of Dr Madiha bint Ahmed al Shaibaniyah, Minister of Education, with the attendance of Hassan bin Mohamed al Lawati, Chairman of Nama Group, and Eng Omar bin Khalfan al Wahaibi, Chief Executive Officer of the Group, as well as senior representatives from Nama Group and other stakeholder organisations.

The Nama Ambassadors Programme, held for the second consecutive year, is a remarkable sustainability initiative conducted by Nama Group. The project targets students from schools, universities and colleges plus vocational training centres to train them with sustainable development approaches and motivate them to create projects that serve the community.
