Mwasalat and LuLu Hypermarkets LLC have signed a naming rights agreement for two new bus stops and one AC bus shelter in Muscat. Mwasalat shall provide the Naming rights for the two bus stops located at LuLu Hypermarket Darsait, near Muttrah, and LuLu Hypermarket Al Bander, in Mawaleh and the AC bus shelter, which will be developed next to Oman Avenues Mall.

The signing of the agreement is set to enhance Mwasalat’s revenue streams, due to their selling of naming rights to different bus stops and shelters across the Muscat Governorate. Therefore, this will enable Mwasalat to find additional sources to cover their operational costs, and to reduce government support. This five year agreement is set to be worth a total of RO 150,000.

Moreover, this agreement aims to enrich the experience for shoppers in the Sultanate in a unique way, by making use of public transportation for their transport needs.

The bus stops and shelter will develop convenient features and facilities, designed to enhance comfort for passengers.

The Oman Avenues Mall AC bus shelter, however, will be further equipped with fully air-conditioned facilities, and will be located just off Muscat’s prominent Sultan Qaboos highway, in close proximity to the mall itself, thereby creating improved access, via the Mwasalat bus service, to the property.

Furthermore, this will provide an opportunity to experience public transport buses with added Mwasalat services and facilities like free Wi-Fi access.
