MUSCAT, Sept 10 - Muscat University, which has moved to its new campus, on Sunday opened its doors for the first batch of Master’s students. The majors on offer this year are: MSc in Management and Entrepreneurship, MSc Finance and Management, Msc Process Systems and Thermal Processes, MSc in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, and MSc in Air Transport Management. “We are delighted to welcome the first set of our master’s students. A group of our five colleagues from Cranfield University in UK joined us for the induction.

We went through the online library, registration process and programme content,” said Professor Yusra Mouzugi, Interim Vice-Chancellor, Muscat University. The Master’s Program is one year for full-time students and two years for part-time students. Since the students will receive a degree from both Muscat University and Cranfield University, it is called a ‘dual degree’. “The unique aspects of the programme are focus on quality and industry engagement,” said Prof Yusra. Each student will have to complete a group project and produce a work-based thesis.
