The Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) is organising the second edition of the Electric Submersible Pumps (ESP) workshop in Oman, under the auspices of, Salim al Aufi, Under-Secretary, Ministry of Oil and Gas, Oman.
The workshop is aimed at bringing together ESP professionals to facilitate discussions and collaborations on multiple aspects of ESP applications and operational excellence. The event will see industry experts and leaders discuss standards and practices, current technical challenges and mitigations, technological advancements, surveillance and optimisation, operational efficiency, and the electricity aspect on ESPs, amongst other important topics, enabling efforts to maximise ESP lifting value and excellence.
Atika al Bimani, Workshop Chair, and Global ESP-Subject Matter Expert, PDO and Shell, says, “This workshop will bring together a network of ESP experts, that will provide an opportunity for sharing best practices, with the goal of stimulating a sense of passion and motivation for greater collaboration and improved application of ESPs.”
