By Vinod Nair — MUSCAT: March 25 - Several Dubai-bound flights were diverted to Muscat due to unfavourable weather conditions, including a Qantas flight operated with a Qantas A380 aircraft. Oman Airport Management Company (OAMC) in a statement said all efforts were taken to accommodate diversions and additional aircraft from the neighbouring airports, which include Emirates and FlyDubai flights. Dubai Airports had said that around inbound flights were diverted on Saturday from the DXB and a number of outbound flights were delayed due to weather conditions. “Dubai Airports can confirm that normal operations at DXB have been disrupted as result of weather conditions persisting since last night. A total of 15 inbound flights were diverted to neighbouring airports, while a number of outbound flights were also delayed owing to the disruption,” the company said in a statement.
