Muscat Bay, Oman’s award winning resort, announces the launch of its Zaha Parkland project, with a groundbreaking ceremony. Held on Tuesday, April 24, the ceremony saw participation from many journalists and media personalities, who were all greeted at the Experience Centre within Muscat Bay and welcomed by CEO, Shaikh Hamood al Hosni and his team. The Experience Centre at Muscat Bay is positioned at a vantage point to give the visitor a chance to experience the aura of Muscat Bay with a breathtaking view that overlooks the entire resort.

It was followed by a briefing session on the essence and basis for Zaha Parkland by Paul Jessup, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Muscat Bay. After the orientation, the guests were then transported to visit the ground opposite the Zaha Parkland residences, where the groundbreaking ceremony of the parkland took place.

Upon completion, Muscat Bay’s Parkland will feature 3 hectares of lush green lawns, which include large tree-lined gardens with over 250 carefully selected trees, parks and community areas for the residents of Zaha Parkland. The Parkland will also include two large swimming pools, one for adults, the other for children, a multi-purpose sports court, a kid’s play area, covered areas for exercise and relaxation and pop-up food and coffee truck to enhance community belonging. For the Oman market Zaha Parkland is unique to Muscat Bay in terms of providing a large, central community area that will enhance resort-style living experiences and facilitate the development of an open, thriving community.
