MSM general index gains 5 points

MUSCAT: Muscat Securities Market (MSM) general index 30 on Sunday added 5.05 points, comprising a rise by 0.11 per cent to close at 4686.56 points, compared to the last session, which stood at 4681.51 points. The trading value stood at RO 2,370,308, comprising a decline by 92 per cent compared to the last session, which stood at RO 29,680,043. The report released by MSM pointed out that the market value rose by 0.004 per cent to reach about RO 17.68 billion. The report added that the value of shares bought by non-Omani investors reached RO 689,000 comprising 29.08 per cent. The value of shares sold by non-Omani investors reached (RO 470,000) comprising 19.81 per cent. The net non-Omani investment rose by 9.27 per cent to RO 220,000. — ONA
