MSM general index declines by 22 points

MUSCAT: Muscat Securities Market (MSM) general index (30) on Monday lost 22.2 points, comprising a decline by 0.41 per cent to close at 5,405.73 points, compared to the last session, which stood at 5,427.89 points. The trading value today stood at RO 2,269,797, comprising a decline by 38.1 per cent compared to the last session, which stood at RO 3,669,827. The report released by MSM pointed out that the market value fell by 0.164 per cent to reach about RO 17.95 billion. The report added that the value of shares bought by non-Omani investors reached (RO 327,000), comprising 14.42 per cent. The value of shares sold by non-Omani investors reached RO 224,000 comprising 9.88 per cent. The net non-Omani investment rose by 4.53 per cent to RO 103,000. — ONA
