VIENNA: The Sultanate, represented by the Ministry of Health received the International Diamond Prize for Excellence in Quality 2017. The award is granted by the European Society for Quality Research (ESQR) as an excellence certificate for various service institutions in the different parts of the world.
The Award comes in recognition of the Ministry of Health efforts to promote health services in the Sultanate.
The award received on behalf of the Health Ministry by Dr Ahmed bin Salim al Mandhari, Director General of Quality Assurance Center at the ministry, a special gala held recently in Vienna in the presence of representatives of 54 institutions from 43 countries.
The award comes in recognition by the international health institutions of the good efforts made by health practitioners in the Sultanate’s health system, as well as the support they receive from the ministry in implementing the plans and strategies since the beginning of the blessed Renaissance under the wise leadership of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos. — ONA
