MUSCAT: The Ministry of Health (MoH), represented by the Directorate-General of Khoula Hospital, recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Sohar Aluminium, Salalah Methanol Company and Oman India Fertiliser Company (OMIFCO). The MoU was signed by Dr Ali al Ma’shani, Director-General of Khoula Hospital on behalf of the Ministry and Said al Masoudi, Chief Executive Officer of Sohar Aluminium Company, Awadh al Shanfari, OMIFCO Chief Executive Officer, and Qasim al Balushi, Director of Social Responsibility of Salalah Methanol Company. The MoU stated to support the hospital in building a new prosthetics unit at a cost of RO 155,000. Dr Al Ma’shani stressed in a statement the importance of partnership between the private and public sectors for the common good. — ONA
