MUSCAT: The Ministry of Education inaugurated on Monday the e-training project under the patronage of Dr Madiha bint Ahmed al Shaibaniyah, Minister of Education at the main training centre in Al Khuwair. The inauguration ceremony was attended by Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamdan al Toobi, Advisor to the Ministry, Saud bin Salim al Balushi, Under-Secretary of the Ministry for Educational Planning and Human Resources Development, Laila bint Ahmed al Najar, Adviser to the Minister for Educational Programmes and a number of directors general and directors in the ministry. The e-training project is one of the most important initiatives undertaken by the ministry. It is based on the need to diversify the training form, to meet the needs of its employees, and to reach them in a manner that takes into account their circumstances and privacy. The e-training depends on providing its programmes using modern technology, improve the performance and development of trainees.
