Ministry’s e-services reviewed

MUSCAT: Within the framework of the keenness of the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs to strengthen its efforts to develop its electronic service system for citizens and residents, a meeting was held on Monday between Shaikh Abdullah bin Mohammed al Salmy, Minister of Endowments and Religious Affairs, and Shaikh Khalid bin Omar al Marhoon, Minister of Civil Service, to discuss a range of aspects related to the electronic services and projects provided by the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs in the presence of a number of concerned officials from both ministries. The meeting included a presentation by Hilal bin Hamoud al-Riyami, Director of Holy Quran Distance Teaching Programme, which is one of the electronic initiatives adopted by the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs, designed by the national cadres working in the ministry. — ONA
