MUSCAT: The Maritime Security Centre, in coordination with the Coast Guard at the Royal Oman Police (ROP), carried out a medevac for a patient after receiving a medevac notification from the captain of one of the commercial ships. The centre immediately got in touch cooperation with ROP Coat Guard to transfer the patient to one of the specialised hospitals in the Sultanate for treatment. The Maritime Security Centre carries out search and rescue operations after maintaining coordination with the relevant authorities in the Sultanate. — ONA
