Muscat, SEPT 15 - Marriott International hosted a recruitment fair at Al Bustan Palace, a Ritz Carlton Hotel, under the patronage of Maitha bint Saif al Mahrouqi, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Tourism. More than 500 Omani men and women were welcomed by representatives from the Ministry of Manpower and the General Managers from all local Marriott properties and discovered the myriad career opportunities available in Oman’s burgeoning hospitality industry.
“Professionals working in hospitality not only play a role in providing a service but more importantly, creating truly memorable experiences which ultimately reflect positively on the country’s image and reputation,” said Maitha al Mahrouqi. The fair was organised to recruit for 200 available job positions ranging from line employees to senior management at one of Marriott International’s four properties in Oman including the soon to re-open Al Bustan Palace, a Ritz-Carlton Hotel, Sheraton Oman Hotel and the upcoming W Muscat and JW Marriott Muscat.
