Muscat: The officers from Al Buraimi police station have arrested a person who forcibly entered the house of an expatriate (of an Asian nationality) and locked up his three children in one of the rooms.
The accused also threatened to use weapons against the children, ROP said in a statement.
The tests showed that the offender was under the influence of drugs and has a criminal history.
Legal proceedings are underway.
