Malaysian king receives envoy’s credentials

KUALA LUMPUR: Sultan Muhammad V, King of Malaysia, received in Kuala Lumpur Shaikh al Abbas bin Ibrahim bin Hamad al Harthy to present his credentials as extraordinary, plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Sultanate accredited to Malaysia.


The ambassador conveyed greetings of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos along with best wishes of good health and well-being to the King of Malaysia, and the friendly Malaysian people continuous progress and prosperity. The ambassador wished the bilateral relations between the two countries further development and prosperity.


On his turn, the King of Malaysia asked the ambassador to convey his greetings and best wishes to His Majesty the Sultan, and the Omani people permanent progress and growth under His Majesty’s wise leadership.


During the meeting, the King of Malaysia welcomed the ambassador and wished him success in his assignments, and the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries progress and growth.
