MUSCAT: The Civil Service Council on Sunday held its first meeting of the year under the chairmanship of Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal al Busaidy, Minister of the Diwan of the Royal Court, Chairman of the Civil Service Council.
The meeting discussed a number of topics from various government agencies related to the regulation of the employment status of certain categories of employees in accordance with the terms of reference of their employers and the duties and responsibilities of their jobs, in accordance with the legal provisions governing the Civil Service Law and its executive regulation.
The meeting also reviewed the report on the training plans for the current year 2018 for ministries and government units, subject to the Civil Service Law.
The report included several indicators and data related to this aspect, including the number of Omani employees to be trained during 2018 under the funds allocated for this purpose, and other indicators and data. — ONA
