MUSCAT: Majlis Ash’shura’s Youth and Human Resources Committee discussed on Wednesday its final preparations for the discussion of the statement of Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser al Bakri, Minister of Manpower, who will be hosted by Majlis Ash’shura on January 15, 16, Sunday and Monday. This came in the committee’s 3rd meeting of the 2nd sitting (2016-2017) of the 8th term of the Majlis, headed by Mohammed bin Salim al Busaidi. It discussed the themes of the statement of the minister of manpower, in terms of plans, operational programmes, Omanisation, employment, workers’ welfare, and technological education and vocational training. The Committee on Media and Culture discussed at its 2nd meeting of the 2nd annual sitting (2016-2017) of the current term on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Hamouda bin Mohamed al Harsoosi, the draft of Cultural Heritage law. — ONA
