Majlis Meethaq highlights journey of Amouage as global perfume brand

MUSCAT: Meethaq, the pioneer of Islamic banking in Oman from Bank Muscat, hosted, David Crickmore, CEO of Amouage, in the 12th Majlis Meethaq evening. The session focused on the topic ‘Transforming a local brand to international’ highlighting the journey of iconic Omani perfume Amouage. The unique social forum is aimed at facilitating interaction with prominent personalities on inspirational aspects of their life and career as well as views and perspective on the economy and important social and cultural issues.


The gathering held at Bank Muscat head office was attended by dignitaries and a large turnout of corporate officials.


Majlis Meethaq is a unique social forum in which a well-known economic, social, religious or cultural persona having influence on Omani society from the Sultanate or abroad is hosted.


The forum is aimed at facilitating interaction with prominent personalities and benefit from inspirational aspects of their life and career as well as views and perspective on the economy and important social and cultural issues.


The Majlis Meethaq forum is aimed at presenting successful role models and highlighting their achievements to motivate and inspire citizens, especially youth, to attain success in life.


David Crickmore highlighted the opportunities and challenges faced by Amouage in establishing itself as a leading global perfume brand.
