Majlis Ash’shura session on Sunday

MUSCAT: Majlis Ash’shura will meet on Sunday to discuss the recommendations of the economic and financial committee on the draft GCC trademarks law and the recommendations of the food and water security committee on the draft law for regularising the aflaj sites listed in the World Heritage List. “Majlis Ash’shura will also discuss the health and environment committee’s vision on the Nairobi International Convention on the Removal of Wrecks 2007 and the special report on amending the Environment Protection and Pollution Combatting Law,” said Ali bin Nasser al Mahrouqi, Secretary-General of Majlis Ash’shura. “Majlis Ash’shura will be also briefed on the double taxation avoidance and evasion of income tax agreements with Slovakia and Malta, in addition to the draft of the Paris Climate Change Agreement.”
