Mahdha police station inaugurated

Mahdha: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) on Wednesday celebrated the opening of Mahdha Police Station and the Services Building.


The opened facilities will


provide best police services to citizens and residents in the Wilayat of Mahdha in the Governorate of Al Buraimi by using modern technologies.


Opening the new police station and the Services Building was


held under the patronage of


Sayyid Saud bin Hilal al Busaidy, Minister of State, Governor of Muscat in the presence of Lt Gen Hassan


bin Mohsin al Shraiqi, Inspector General of Police and Customs, members of the State Council, members of Majlis Ash’shura, senior officers at ROP, military and security departments, shaikhs, dignitaries and citizens.


The opening ceremony witnessed a military parade that began with performing the military salute to the chief guest.


The participants chanted the ROP anthem, and proclaimed thrice Long Live His Majesty Sultan Qaboos, the Supreme Commander.


The ROP Music Band played different musical pieces.


The chief guest accompanied by the Inspector General of Police and Customs unveiled the plaque, declaring the official opening of the new station.


Later, they toured Mahdha Police Station and the Services Building.
