Large quantities of tobacco smuggling foiled

The customs authorities at the port of Wajajah have foiled the smuggling of large quantities of tobacco that were tightly hidden into the engine of the vehicle and the spare tyre.

Meanshile, Oman Customs will provide the tablet computer to the inspectors for use on the field and the company website through a special electronic application.

The port of Sohar is the first customs outlet in which this service is applied. as it the agency aims to expedite and facilitate inspections and inspection processes.
