KO to train CBFS students on interview techniques

MUSCAT: Knowledge Oman (KO), the leading community knowledge-sharing initiative, has been invited by the College of Banking and Financial Studies to deliver a workshop on interview techniques and best practices to the students as part of developing students skills and readying for employment after graduation. The purpose of the workshop is to shed the light on the topic of ‘Interview Techniques’ as it is believed to be a very important skill students need to possess in order to stand out amongst the candidates and increases the chances of being accepted at the various job positions and opportunities.


Lamiya al Abri, a senior member of Knowledge Oman and a human resources expert, at a multinational company will deliver the workshop. Lamiya said ‘We are delighted to have received this invitation from College of Banking and Financial Studies to discuss the topic of Interview Techniques as we always aim to have more positive impacts in the society by further enriching people’s lives through sharing the knowledge and best practices in the field. I look forward to share all that is needed for a student to know what it takes to take an interview and succeed at the session”’ Knowledge Oman is an example by itself regarding social enterprises, where it was incorporated voluntarily with the goal of contributing towards the knowledge-based economy of Oman and further make positive impacts in the community.
