MUSCAT: Kalabhavan School of Music & Arts, one of the licensed music and art training schools in Oman and a franchisee of Kochin Kalabhavan, will be celebrating its annual dance festival ‘Nritholsavam’ on May 25 at Crystal Suites Hotel, Wadi Kabir.

Kalabhavan has been conducting its annual dance festival in Oman consecutively for the past 11 years. This is an exclusive event for our classical dance students.

Apart from its Annual Dance Festival, Kalabhavan also conducts Thyagaraja Music Festival, an exclusive event for vocal students and Fr Abel’s Day — as a tribute to its founder Fr Abel CMI — for the students learning musical instruments. Kalabhavan’s Annual Day Celebration is a mega event where more than 150 students take part every year from all the branches.

Kalabhavan School of Music conducts courses such as Indian classical dance, cinematic dance, keyboard, guitar, tabala, mridangam, drums, vocal music, karate, tailoring, art & craft, Magic etc. Kalabhavan has three branches in Oman which are located at Al Ghubra, Al Hail and Ruwi respectively. Currently, around 900 students are enrolled in these branches for various courses.
