Justice Ministry team from Saudi visits Supreme Court

MUSCAT: A delegation from the Ministry of Justice in Saudi Arabia visited the Supreme Court on Wednesday. The delegation, which is being hosted by the Ministry of Legal Affairs, met with Mohammed bin Abdullah al Hajri, Judge at the Supreme Court, who welcomed the visiting delegation and valued its visit to the Sultanate and the Court. The delegation was briefed on the mechanism of dealing with cases and ways of submitting appeal in the Court, besides discussing several topics of common concern in the field of justice in the two countries. The Saudi delegation viewed the Court’s assignments and the nature of cases. The delegation also toured the Court’s facilities and halls. The meeting was attended by Dr Khalil bin Hamad al Busaidi, Head of the Directorate-General of Judges Affairs and Salim bin Abdullah al Maashari, Director of the Secretariat of the Supreme Court. — ONA
