MUSCAT: As part of its annual ‘ Economic Evenings’, the Public Authority for Investment Promotion and Export Development ‘Ithraa’ will organise four panel discussions which aim at reaching common understanding of the challenges and presenting new practices for handling the raised issues.
The panel discussion will cover the fourth industrial revolution (4IR), the sliver economy, Oman the beginning of the story and the smart cities. The panel discussions provide the opportunity to meet with professionals from the different economic sectors and discuss with them the latest challenges and opportunities and share their experiences.
Talib bin Saif al Makhmari, Director-General of media and Marketing in ‘Ithraa’ said that the panel discussions for this year will cover the early forecast of the opportunities in the vital sectors in the Sultanate and how to prepare for the coming stage. Sajdah al Ghaithi, Director of Media at ‘Ithraa’, said that the list of speakers at the panel discussions includes Dr Hafiz al Shuhi from Sultan Qaboos University (SQU), Dr Abdullah al Balushi from Ericson Oman, Mohammed Neyaz from Ernest & Yong and Amro Sherif from Esso Exploration and Production Crown Limited. — ONA
