SOHAR: Ibri clinched the Under-18 Football Championships after they beat Oman Club in the final 5-4 via penalty shoot-out. The score remained 1-1 after full time. The game was held at the Sohar Sports Complex with Mohsen al Masrouri, head of the competitions committee, present as the chief guest. Ibri opened the scoring in the first-half through Kusai Yacqoubi. Salem al Jumah from Oman club netted the equaliser sending both teams level at the half-time break. The score stayed 1-1 in the second half despite some good moves and Ibri prevailed in the penalty shoot-out. In the third place game between Seeb club and Saham, Seeb won 3-0.
