MUSCAT: His Majesty Sultan Qaboos has received a cable of thanks from President Ram Nath Kovind of the Republic of India in reply to His Majesty’s congratulatory cable to him on the occasion of electing him as a new President of the Republic. In his cable, President Kovind expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation for His Majesty the Sultan’s greetings, wishing His Majesty permanent health and wellbeing, and the Sultanate progress and prosperity. The Indian President affirmed the strong bilateral relations and historic ties between the two countries and their friendly peoples.
