MUSCAT: His Majesty Sultan Qaboos has received a cable of thanks from President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey in reply to His Majesty’s condolences cable to him on victims of the train that derailed in Tekirdag in Turkey last month. In his cable, President Erdogan expressed his thanks for His Majesty the Sultan’s condolences and sincere sympathy, wishing, on behalf of him and the Turkish people, His Majesty good health and happiness, and the Omani people permanent peace and welfare. His Majesty has also received a cable of thanks from President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic of Croatia in reply to His Majesty’s greetings cable to her on the occasion of her country’s Independence Anniversary. His Majesty has received a cable of thanks from President Abdelaziz Bouteflika of Algeria in reply to His Majesty’s greetings cable on the occasion of his country’s Independence anniversary.
