MUSCAT: His Majesty Sultan Qaboos has sent a cable of greetings to His Highness Shaikh Tamim bin Hamad bin Khalifa al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, on the occasion of the anniversary of accession to throne of the sisterly State of Qatar. His Majesty the Sultan expressed his best greetings and sincere wishes of good health, long life and well-being to the Emir, praying to the Almighty Allah to return this occasion and similar ones on him, and the brotherly people of Qatar more progress and prosperity.
