HM directs RAFO to bring back Omani patient from China

Muscat: Following the royal orders of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos, a sick Omani citizen is being flown home from China by the Royal Air Force of Oman, the Ministry of Defence said on Thursday. The flight left on Thursday and is expected to return with the citizen on Saturday.
The citizen slipped into coma after a surgery. He was not able to fly by commercial flight due to his condition, which prompted the ministry to help him return home, Ministry of Defence said.
“This dispatch is on the basis of the care and attention paid by the Government of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos to the people of this dear country. This comes under the framework of services that the Ministry of Defence, and the Sultan’s armed forces provide for the citizens and residents of the homeland,” the statement added.
