Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Qaboos and Xi Jinping, President of China exchanged greetings on the occasion of the 40th anniversary for establishing diplomatic relations between the Sultanate and China.
His Majesty the Sultan wished good health and well-being to the Chinese president and the people of China further progress and prosperity. His Majesty affirmed his keenness to foster relations for the interest of both countries. President Xi wished good health and well-being to His Majesty the Sultan and the Omani people progress and prosperity.
The Chinese President also hailed the historic ties and relations between the two countries and stressed the importance of developing them to serve the joint interests of the Omani and Chinese friendly peoples.
