HJIC reviews study programmes

 

Muscat: The Higher Judiciary Institute Council (HJIC) on Thursday held a meeting under the chairmanship of Shaikh Abdulmalik bin Abdullah al Khalili, Minister of Justice, Chairman of the HJIC.
The Council discussed progress of study and training at the Institute and means of developing them to achieve the desired goals represented in preparing and training judges and members of the Public Prosecution in the Sultanate.
The Council also discussed study plans for all postgraduate programmes that the Institute intends to offer during the upcoming period.
Additionally, the Council also discussed issuing a scientific magazine concerned with publishing scientific research in the mentioned fields.
It also reviewed preparations of the Institute to organize a scientific seminar on Media and Law at the Institute HQs in Nizwa on April 26.
