Head of GCC permanent delegate receives Peace Award in Vienna

Vienna: Dr Mohammed bin Saleh al Ghailani, Head of the GCC Permanent Commission to the UN in Vienna, received ‘Flame of Peace Award’ from President of the Austrian Association for the Furtherance of Peace, Her Imperial Highness Archduchess Herta Margarete and Vice President Archduke Sandor von Habsburg. The award comes in recognition of the active role he played as Head of the GCC Permanent Commission to the UN in Vienna and communication with the international organisations in Austria to boost the regional and international efforts made to promote peace, security, stability, tolerance and peaceful coexistence at the different parts of the award. The award has been conferred on a number of heads of states and ambassadors. — ONA
