Muscat: India’s budget airline GoAir will operate three direct weekly flights between Kannur in Kerala and Muscat from February 28.
Mezoon Travel is the General Sales Agent (GSA) for the airline in Oman, the top company official confirmed to the Observer.
Bookings are open with a one-way fare (all inclusive) starting Rs 4,999″, the airline said in a statement.
The first flight from Kanuur on February 28 will leave at 9.45 pm to arrive in Muscat at 12.05 am. The return flight will leave Muscat at 1.05 am to reach Kannur at 6 am.
From Kannur, flights will be initially available on Thursday, Saturday and Tuesday.
As per the airline website, one-way fares start from Muscat to Kannur start from RO 50.59 for March 1, which drops to RO36.82 for March 3.
From Muscat, flights will be initially available on Friday, Sunday and Wednesday.
One-way fares start from Kannur to Muscat start from RO 38.80 for March 1, which drops to RO35 for March 3.
“We are proud to announce Muscat as our third international destination and 27th overall destination. GoAir will operate three direct flight services per week between Kannur-Muscat-Kannur and bookings are now open at all-inclusive one-way fare starting from Indian rupees 4,999,” the GoAir statement said.

GoAir has a different schedule from April 2 to October 26. The timings for departure from Kannur is scheduled at 10.10 pm, and arrival in Muscat is 12.40 am. The flights are priced from Indian rupees 4,999.
From Muscat to Kannur (between March 31 to October 26), flights will take off from Muscat at 2.30 am and reach Kannur at 7.25 am.
These flights will be operated on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
Earlier, Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA) approved GoAir to operate seven weekly flights from Kannur to Muscat.
