German president receives Oman ambassador’s credentials

Munich: German President Joachim Gauck received Lyoutha bint Sultan al Mughairiyah who presented her credentials as the Sultanate’s extraordinary, plenipotentiary and resident ambassador to Germany.
During the meeting, the ambassador conveyed greetings of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos to President Gauck along with His Majesty’s best wishes to him and the friendly people of Germany continuous progress and prosperity.
On his turn, President of Germany asked the ambassador to convey his greetings to His Majesty the Sultan and the Omani people, wishing the Sultanate further progress and prosperity.
The meeting reviewed the good relations binding the two friendly countries and means of promoting them particularly in economic fields. — ONA
