An arbitration award was issued in the third of the four arbitration proceedings between Galfar Engineering and Contracting Claimant) and Oman Wastewater Services Company / Haya Water (Defendant) in respect of the disputed claims between the parties in Al Seeb sewage project contract-3.
"The Award was issued on March 1, 2018 and we have received recitals of the award on March 4, 2018," said the Galfar Company in a statement.
The arbitration award has decided in all disputed matters and kept the right to Galfar to file a claim to the consultant in respect of price increase in the BOQ of the additional detour traffic roads.
The award obligated Haya water to pay to Galfar all the awarded amounts plus the arbitration cost in a total Sum of RO1.3 million.
This award covers the income recognized in the Company’s accounts, the company said.
