MUSCAT: Assigned by His Majesty Sultan Qaboos, Dr Ahmed bin Mohammed al Futaisi, Minister of Transport and Communications, left here on Monday heading to the sisterly State of Qatar to attend the official inauguration of the Hamad Port. The minister is accompanied by Najeeb bin Yahya al Balushi, the Sultanate’s Ambassador to Qatar, and a number of officials. The Hamad Port is one of largest and most important ports in the Middle East region and one of Qatar’s giant infrastructure projects.
