‘Fulk al Salama’ begins voyage to Zanzibar, Darussalam, Mombasa

As per the Royal directives of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said and in a bid to revive the Omani marine  heritage, the Royal support vessel (Fulk Al Salama) today sailed from Sultan Qaboos Port in a journey to some East African countries during which the vessel will visit the ports in Zanzibar, Darussalam and Mombasa conveying greetings, love and peace from the Omani people to their brothers in these countries.

The journey is a continuation of the journeys made by the Omani vessels to a number of ports at the different countries of the world with the aim of enhancing ties of friendship and love between the Sultanate and these countries.

Assigned by His Majesty the Sultan, Dr Mohammed bin Hamad al- Rumhy, Minister of Oil and Gas to presides over this blessed journey.
