MANAMA: Majlis Ash’shura took part in the GCC Food and Water Security Concerns Forum, which was held in Manama.
The participating delegation comprised Mahfoudh bin Ali al Juma, member of Majlis Ash’shura Office, Salim bin Hamad al Mafarji and Said bin Mohammed al Sa’edi.
During the forum, Al Juma presented a working paper titled Food and Water Security Concerns in the Sultanate. The forum included several working papers from the GCC Shura and Parliament Councils and other initiations, such as the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations (UN), The Arab Organization for Agricultural Development (AOAD) and Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research (KISR). — ONA
