Every Thursday, residents of Oman can travel the culinary globe and explore over 8 different cuisines, from Italy to Iran, India to Vietnam, Mexico to Arabia with a world of flavour and famous street foods to heartily sample.

After a very successful takeoff late last year, Street Food Festival at the Grand Millennium Muscat’s Taybat Restaurant & Terrace continues to ignite taste buds representing a vibrant celebration of community, culture, and international cuisine.

Having recently expanded the offering due to popular demand, guests can now enjoy freshly rolled sushi at the Japanese street food station, or hearty Omani delicacies such as mishkaak and traditional lamb shuwa — all of which are cooked in-front-of-your-eyes and showcased by a team of international chefs.

Foodies will have an opportunity to marvel at chefs working their culinary magic at live cooking stations and open-air grills, set to the backdrop of international fusion music, complimenting each and every mouthful.

“Our team of chefs hail from all over the world and are naturally passionate about the food of their home countries. With more than eight nationalities in our kitchen, what better way to showcase their talents than with an international street food festival,” shared Luca Medda, Cluster General Manager, Grand Millennium Hotel.

Mongolian-style dishes, succulent Persian kababs, fire-kissed tandoori grills, and meaty Mexican tacos are just some of the other items on offer.

The street food festival takes you on a new dining adventure full of authenticity, mastered by passionate chefs from around the globe; an experience you would not want to miss.

Children under 6 years old eat free.
