FFF participants stress importance of developing vision for future

MUSCAT: Participants in the Future Foresight Forum (FFF) held at Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre during December 6,7 stressed the importance of the themes and discussions reviewed by the forum with the participation of various social groups to complete the way of preparing the future vision for Oman 2040 at a steady pace.
Dr Said bin Hamad bin Said al Rubaiee, Secretary General of the Education Council, said in a statement to ONA that the forum was held with a wide participation from different sectors of the society and came at a suitable time for the process of preparing the future vision (Oman 2040). He affirmed that the forum was able to provide a great dimension for community participation
Dr Yousef bin Hamad al Balushi, Economic Consultant, Future Vision Office, Oman 2040, said that FFF highlighted the future international, regional and national trends of the Omani society to explore future trends in the Sultanate and to identify the main themes in the preparation of future scenarios. — ONA
