MUSCAT: Oman’s international tennis player Fatma al Nabhani is taking part in the 19th Al Habtoor Tennis Challenge (AHTC) being held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Recognised by the International Tennis Federation (ITF) women’s championship offers a total of $100,000 in prize money, AHTC sees participation of seeded female tennis players. Al Nabhani received a special invitation from the championship organisers to represent the Arab female tennis payers. She attended the draw which was held on Sunday in the presence of Fredrik Reinisch, General Manager, Habtoor Group and Sarah Baghir, Sarah Ahmed Bakir, Secretary General of the United Arab Emirates Tennis Association. Speaking at the draw ceremony, Al Nabhani expressed her delight over representing the Arab world in the championship and competing with 32 top-seeded players.
