Exhibition to display HM’s handwritings

MUSCAT: Sayyid Saud bin Hilal al Busaidy, Minister of State and Governor of Muscat, will open the exhibition of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos’ handwritings in registers during Royal visits to various organisations and countries. The exhibition will be held on December 6 at Al Saidiyah School in the Governorate of Muscat coinciding with the 47th Glorious National Day celebrations. Shaikh Mohammed bin Humaid al Ghabshi, Deputy Wali of Muscat, said the exhibition by the artist Abdul Aziz bin Abdul Rahman al Kharousi, is the first of its kind in the Sultanate that displays His Majesty the Sultan’s handwritings during his visits to the public organisations or while inaugurating the organisations, as well as His Majesty’s handwritings during his visits to some countries. He added that the exhibition will be accompanied by a poetry night for a number of poets. A book that compiles all Royal handwritings that were displayed at the exhibition to be available for everyone, especially students, researchers and academicians. — ONA
